Overview
Three volunteers undertake the difficult task of cutting the wires in the entanglements before the decisive assault on the German positions at Lenino. Paul and Andrew took part in the September campaign. After September 17, Pawel fought in the ranks of the Soviet army, while Andrzej, after a stay in a prisoner of war camp, volunteered for General Anders' army. Sick with typhus, he did not leave for Iran. Ernest, a Silesian, deserted from the Wehrmacht. They all meet in the Kosciuszko Division. Ernest and Andrew are wounded, but complete the task. Produced in 1973.
